Metro and train advertising can enrich daily commute: JCDecaux report

The study, titled “Metro/Train Stories: Time and Space for a Daily Dialogue with Urban Lives”, is based on over 5,000 survey responses from over 14 countries.

The study, based on the survey of 5,260 metro and train users across 14 countries, delves into the world of metro/train advertising and highlights how OOH and DOOH can enhance daily commute for an engaging audience that is receptive to advertising and can be influenced.

As metro and train networks experience footfalls in the millions, it is perhaps one of the most essential elements of urban infrastructure for any city. With an average weekly exposure of two and a half hours and around 90% of commuters observing advertisements in this environment, metro and railway advertising serve as a great platform (no pun intended) for brands to connect with their audiences. Another interesting point that emerged from this study was that 74% of commuters agreed that brands devoted towards sustainability should invest in metro/train advertising.
