Delhi metro footfall shoots up in second month of reopening

Delhi Metro Rail Corporation (DMRC)’s recently released ridership data brings good news for the brands who find metro advertising as an ideal place to target a variety of audiences.
The data shows that in the two months since Delhi metro resumed its services after 169 days on September 7, its footfall doubled in October compared with September.
The corporation shared that the line utilisation in the month of September was 6.8 lakh per day which jumped to 12.2 lakh a day in October.
A few important stations have already reached 100% occupancy rate in the morning and evening peak hours and up to 35% during non-peak hours. However, the transit corporation ensures that all the preventive measures against Covid10 are being taken.
