World Out of Home Congress 2020 dates announced

By M4G Bureau - January 02, 2020

It is the first time Congress has returned to North America since 1998 when the FEPE Congress was held in Montreal

The first ever World Out of Home Congress under the auspices of the rebranded World Out of Home Organization, formerly FEPE International announces dates for 2020 i.e. June 3-5 at the Sheraton Centre Hotel in Toronto. The registration is also open for the same.

It is the first time Congress has returned to North America since 1998 when the FEPE Congress was held in Montreal.

2019’s FEPE International Congress in Dubai attracted a record 455 delegates from over 40 countries.

World Out of Home Organization President Tom Goddard says: “Our Organization is now a truly worldwide body, with new members including national and regional associations joining us.

“Canada and North America as a whole is a major factor in Out of Home, particularly as a centre for innovation. Toronto itself has been chosen as Google’s ‘smart city.’

“We look forward to welcoming new and old friends to Toronto in June.”

The speaker programme is currently being finalised and details of each speaker will be announced in our weekly newsletter and on the WOO website in due course.

The Gala dinner on Thursday 4th June will be held at the Royal Ontario Museum and will include the annual WOO awards ceremony. Details on how to submit awards nominees will follow shortly. The Friday night social event will be a party with live music at The Assembly, which is opposite the Sheraton Centre Hotel.

There will also be a social programme for partners who do not attend the congress, which will include a trip to Niagara Falls on Saturday 6th June, after the congress ends.
