Havells lights up Ganpati festival with new “Safety cha Deva” campaign
Havells brings festive cheer to Mumbai and Pune with a unique Ganpati-themed campaign, emphasising safety during the celebrations.
Havells, a leading electrical goods company, has launched an eye-catching campaign for the Ganpati festival, featuring Lord Ganesha adorned with illuminating wires on billboards across Mumbai and Pune. The campaign, aptly named “Safety cha Deva,” creatively highlights Havells’ fire-resistant wires with a message that resonates with the spirit of the festival while promoting safety.
These vibrant hoardings, strategically placed in key locations—five in Mumbai and five in Pune—combine traditional imagery with modern innovation. The illuminated Ganesha not only symbolises the divine presence during the festival but also reinforces Havells’ commitment to safety with the tagline “Wires that don’t catch fire.” This campaign is a perfect blend of cultural relevance and brand messaging, making it a standout in the festive advertising landscape.
The “Safety cha Deva” campaign was executed by Posterscope, a leading outdoor advertising agency known for its innovative and impactful campaigns. Posterscope’s expertise in creating visually striking outdoor advertisements is evident in the seamless integration of traditional festival elements with Havells’ safety messaging. By leveraging the widespread appeal of Lord Ganesha during the Ganpati festival, Posterscope has successfully crafted a campaign that not only captures attention but also effectively communicates the importance of using safe and reliable products in everyday life.
“This festive season is crucial for us as we aim to engage directly with our consumers across India, particularly during significant celebrations like Ganpati in Mumbai and Pune. Our ‘Safety cha Deva’ campaign leverages outdoor media to create impactful, culturally resonant communication that not only stands out but also reinforces our commitment to safety. Collaborating with Posterscope, we’ve crafted an iconic installation that highlights our fire-resistant wires, ensuring that our brand remains top of mind during these celebrations,” said Siddharth Anand Jha, Sr. GM- Marcom, Havells India.
