With digital out-of-home (DOOH) media footprints expanding in different markets across the country, there is commensurate growing interest among media owning firms and investors in media assets to learn more about the digital OOH display solutions that are available in the market.

In view of this, the Gujarat Talks OOH conference will feature a tech module wherein well-known digital display solutions firms will make short presentations to the audience.

Indian OOH leader Rohit Chopra, who is the Chief Operating Officer of Times OOH, will chair this tech session and share his perspectives on the theme of making the best choice of digital OOH display solutions.

In this session, the presenters will be individually making 7-minute presentations, covering the following:

  • What is distinctly different about the digital display solutions that are introduced in the Indian OOH market, and what is the value proposition to potential buyers in Gujarat?
  • In the price vs quality equation, how the right balance is arrived at for buyers to consider the solutions offerings?
  • The imperative of providing timely tech support to the buyers.

Rohit is an accomplished professional with over 23 years of experience in strategic leadership and operational management within the media industry. As the Chief Operating Officer at Times Innovative Media Limited, a subsidiary of The Times of India Group, he is dedicated to driving transformative initiatives and fostering a culture of excellence within the organisation, Rohit's expertise lies in expanding market opportunities, implementing best practices, and establishing robust business ecosystems to ensure sustained profitability and market leadership.

Prior to his role at Times Innovative Media Ltd, Rohit served as the CEO of TIMDAA, where he spearheaded the Delhi Airport advertising business and was responsible for its growth. He has a rich history of working with FMCG brands, including Coca-Cola and Bunge India (Dalda Food).

During his tenure at Bunge India, Rohit successfully managed sales of INR 400 crore FMCG brand in the oils & fats category, which was acquired from Hindustan Unilever Ltd. He reacquired a leadership position in the hydrogenated fats market by driving strategic sales initiatives, setting up a robust distribution framework, implementing differential product pricing, and promoting brand visibility.
