Large format media operators waiting endlessly for the Bengaluru Mahanagara Palike Advertisement Rules 2019 to come into effect

BBMPLarge format media operators in Bengaluru are looking at the grim prospect of losing out the business opportunities in another festive season owing to the OOH policy stalemate. It is learnt that the committee that was tasked to submit the report on the objections and suggestions submitted by the media operators with regard to the draft Bengaluru Mahanagara Palike Advertisement Rules 2019 has not come up with its report as yet. All that the media operators are informed by the concerned authority is that their feedback is still under consideration. As a result, the large format media operators who have been out of business for more than a year will likely not have the opportunity to get back to business before the festive season runs out.
