For OOH media to gain a larger share of the advertising spends, it is vital that the advertising brands and media planners engage in a dialogue with the OOH industry on factors that will induce more brands to take the OOH route to connect with their respective target audiences. The upcoming Outdoor Advertising Convention (OAC), to he held at the Renaissance Mumbai Convention Centre, Powai, Mumbai, during July 28-29, 2017, will feature a panel discussion on the theme ‘What will it take for media planners to believe more in OOH?’.
At this session, Vanita Keswani, CEO, Madison Media Sigma, will be making a presentation before participating in the panel discussion.
Vanita is passionate about media planning and buying and has climbed the ladder at Madison Media through two decades. She is CEO Madison Media Sigma and has led media for businesses in diverse categories — from Coca Cola, Godrej Consumer Products, Pidilite, and McDonalds to Tata Chemicals, Ceat, Piramal, among others.
Vanita is a product of The Times School of Marketing and started her career with Bennett Coleman & Co Ltd., where she worked with various departments of Times of India, the last one being Times FM. She has been awarded among top 50 most influential women in advertising and marketing by Impact magazine this year.
Personally, as part of her spiritual journey, she practices Nicherin Daishonin Buddhism.
