ProDigi DOOH Network illuminates Mumbai for International Day of Peace
RoshanSpace Brandcom in collaboration with Indian Outdoor Advertising Association (IOAA) marks ‘Peace Day’ with a symbolic flame across ProDigi screens
On September 21st, millions of Mumbaikars travelling through Bandra Kurla Complex (B.K.C) and the Western Express Highway (W.E.H) witnessed a visual tribute to the International Day of Peace, also known as “Peace Day,” with a glowing flame projected across the ProDigi Digital Out-of-Home (DOOH) network. The initiative, conducted in collaboration with the Indian Outdoor Advertising Association (IOAA), marked the global day of unity and peace by displaying the image of a lit candle on digital screens.
Peace Day, established in 1981 by a United Nations resolution, is observed annually on September 21st to promote peace and foster a culture of unity. This year, the projection of the single candle flame was part of a global action to evoke solidarity. The image was displayed across the ProDigi network in collaboration with the World Out of Home Organization (WOO) and the #EssaysForPeace initiative.
At noon, for a duration of five minutes, the glowing flame appeared on 20 DOOH screens along a 4.7 km stretch of the Western Express Highway and the B.K.C Connector. The event ensured high visibility among daily commuters travelling between B.K.C, the Sea-Link, the airports, and major residential and commercial hubs. The dwell time of the visuals, measured between 7.4 and 8 seconds, reflected the engagement of the passing audience.
The projection of the flame was shared widely on social media platforms, extending the reach of the #EssaysForPeace initiative and spreading the message of peace beyond the streets of Mumbai.
This collective action emphasised the importance of peace and unity, resonating with millions as part of a larger, global movement.
