BBMP permits temporary hoardings at a nominal fee

Even unauthorised media remains a thorny issue in the city of Bengaluru, with the state Assembly elections approaching, Bruhat Bengaluru Mahanagara Palike (BBMP) has decided to grant temporary permission for installation of hoardings based on application for the same, and at a nominal fee. The temporary hoardings shall bear the temporary number that would be issued by BBMP.

Those seeking to install temporary hoardings can approach the concerned BBMP zonal office and apply for permission by paying a nominal fee. The corporation has given the charge of eight BBMP Zones to Joint Commissioners to control the mushrooming illegal flex banners in the city.
