1st Transit Media Talks Conference to be convened in Mumbai tomorrow

The deliberations at the conference will centre on new and emerging investment and advertising opportunities in the transit media space

The 1st Transit Media Talks Conference entitled ‘Influencing an India on the Go’, to be held at the Courtyard by Marriott hotel, Mumbai on February 28, 2019, will bring — for the very first time in India — Government Officials, National & Regional Transit Media Owners, Brand Marketers, National & Regional Specialist Agencies & OOH Solution Providers on a common platform to:
• Assess the big media investment opportunities in transit segments
• Identify ways to enhance the attractiveness of transit media
• Explore better use of technologies and metrics to augment transit media
• Discuss ways to usher in green and sustainable solutions, as well as innovative designs, in the transit media space.

The conference will begin with a Media4Growth presentation on ‘How big is transit media in India’, followed by a presentation by Santosh Padhi, Co-Founder & CCO, Taproot Dentsu on the theme — ‘The consumer has changed dramatically, have you?’.

In keeping with the big changes that are taking place in the airport media space, K L Sharma, Executive Director – Commercial, Airport Authority of India, will speak on the theme of ‘What makes airport advertising fly high’.

Deepak Saluja, VP – Marketing, UTI and Shalini Kumar, VP – Partnerships & Innovations, Star India will make individual presentations on ‘What will it take for brands to increase the spends on transit media’.

The conference will feature several other presentations, including those by Pawan Bansal, COO, Jagran Engage and Amit Kapoor, MD, US Advertising. The deliberations will conclude with a panel discussion involving leaders of India’s top specialist agencies — Rachana Lokhande, CEO, Kinetic India; Fabian Cowan, President, Posterscope; Jayesh Yagnik, COO, MOMS; Vinkoo Chakraborty, Business Head, Rapport India; and Dipankar Sanyal, CEO, Platinum Media.
