In the quest to establish a leadership position across the spectrum of brand communication, ideacafe.agency has announced key leadership hires. Nabendu Bhattacharyya, Founder of ideacafe.agency believes that ‘the right people in the right place can drive revolutionary change’ and has been handpicking talent from varied specialisations to ensure the continuous "brewing" of ideas. Nabendu announced the appointment of key senior hires across markets focusing on the growth trajectory for the agency. 

With a major focus on creativity and idea-based solutions, Nabendu announced the appointment of Divesh Jadhav as Creative Director. The appointment has been made to reinforce and strengthen the creative capabilities of the agency. Prior to this Divesh was with Mirum India, a WPP company, as design head. He has also worked with Publicis and Green Room Media. Divesh has excelled in social media, marketing automation design, OLV’s, animation, and art direction for both theatre and films. His past work has been recognised at many forums like the afaqs! DIGIES, DM Asia SPARKIES and others. 

Nabendu commented, “ I have always been passionate about creativity. With Divesh coming on board, his experience of over 12 years as a creative professional will help us further cultivate and set the creative culture at Ideacafe”. Divesh commented, “OOH has largely been left unexplored as a domain from a creative perspective and the positioning of ideacafe as being the fore bearers of a creative OOH solution provider was too strong to resist. Raj Mohanty an industry veteran of more than two decades with rich experience and expertise in the industry joins the ideacafe team as Vice President. In his new role Raj will be operating from the agency’s Delhi office and will be responsible to drive growth, foster innovation, and enhance its service offerings in the north region and national level. His immediate prior stint was with Signpost as VP strategic alliances – North and has worked with Group M, LG ads and Kinetic in various senior roles. 

On Raj’s appointment, Nabendu commented, “I welcome Raj on board at ideacafe. Raj is a seasoned professional with over two decades of experience. His strategic vision, creative leadership, and proven ability to build and nurture relationships with clients, media partners, and other stakeholders make him the ideal choice to further strengthen ideacafe.agency presence and expand its market share in the north and rest of India. 

On his appointment Raj said, “Having been an outdoor and creative professional for close to two decades I was able to clearly see the vision of ideacafe and its core team and am happy to have gotten this opportunity to be part of this new and compelling new OOH and content building narrative”.

In the east, Sunny Sharma joins the team as Client Servicing Director and Business Head East. Sunny is a seasoned outdoor professional and has been part of OAP, Percept Out of Home, Milestone Brandcom and dentsu in the past. On his appointment Sunny shared, “I have worked with Nabendu for the maximum tenure of my career and have been influenced deeply by his vision and work ethic, I am glad to be part of this revolutionary initiative called ideacafe”. Nabendu commented, “I am thrilled to have Sunny on board with us. Over a period, Sunny has become a passionate and dynamic talent in all spectrums of communication. His passion for achieving very best result makes him one of the best talents in the industry”.

In the west, Mitesh Darji comes on board as Client Servicing Director. With more than 12+ years of experience in OOH business having been with dentsu, Milestone Brandcom and Mediacircle in the past. On joining ideacafe, Mitesh said, “Joining ideacafe.agency is an exciting opportunity for me at this junction of my career. Have worked with my mentor Nabendu and I look forward to collaborating with the talented team here at ideacafe and leverage my expertise to deliver exceptional result to our clients”. In the south, Pavankumar Makani joins the ideacafe team from Madison Media as Branch Head Bangalore and will drive business from the agency’s Bangalore office. Pavan will focus on strengthening client partnerships, profitability, and business relations in the south. An MBA from Bangalore University, Pavan has worked with Ogilvy as Account Supervisor, Milestone Brandcom as Sr. Account Director. Pavan brings with him the experience of working with some of the largest brands in the country. On his appointment Pavan said, “I have been following the visionary initiatives of Nabendu and also his core team for many years and believe that their union at ideacafe will definitely disrupt the industry for the better and I couldn’t have asked for a better opportunity, it is indeed a privilege to be part of ideacafe”.
