Gandii Baat show teaches some Achhi Baat with ambient advertising
The show turned out to become the topic of discussion with its unique ambient advertising approach
Gandii Baat, a Hindi web series directed by Sachin Mohite for ALTBalaji attracts attention of the masses with its show line but also for its catchy promotional campaign. Executed by CASHurDRIVE, a Transit media company, an ambient advertising media approach sets the name of the show on everyone’s lips.
While the web series portrayed some real-life cases and interestingly the show was able to connect with its audience through real-life instances and send a good social message to the citizens of India. Likewise, the ambient advertising was rolled out emphasizing on the name of the show ‘Gandii Baat’ at the same time, encouraging individuals to adopt good habits such as not to use plastic bags, use dustbin for their trashes and wastes, follow the traffic rules, etc. because failing to be a responsible citizen of India is a “Gandii Baat”.
The campaign was rolled out for a month in the Mumbai market where the vegetable vendors and dustbins were branded with an interesting message.
