‘OOH must extend maximum value to advertising brands’
At the Delhi NCR Talks OOH Conference, Prem Shankar Jha, Dy Commissioner, South Delhi Municipal Corporation (SDMC), highlighted the critical need for the OOH industry to create the right conditions for advertising brands to showcase their offerings in the most compelling
At his presentation at Delhi-NCR Talks OOH, PS Jha, started with the adverse implications of unfair and illegal practices in OOH industry that amount to not only de-valuing the advertising brands but also ripping the city off its aesthetics. He then went on focusing the need of adopting a smart model of supply and demand for all stakeholders starting from brands to consumers to urban local bodies to the city itself to benefit from.
Jha also spoke on the most modern approach of the latest outdoor policy that allows more flexibility in terms of shapes, sizes and nature of outdoor units. He also pointed out SDMC’s recent measure to curb down the illegal media of the city and initiatives to open more friendly dialogues between the authority and the media owners.
