NDA government spent INR 101.01 crore on OOH advertising in 2019-2020

Reported by a news website, the figures are revealed by the Bureau of Outreach and Communication

As a response to an RTI filed by an activist, the Bureau of Outreach and Communication has shared that out of total INR 713.20 crore, INR 101.10 core was spent on OOH advertisement by the National Democratic Alliance (NDA) in the year 2019-2020, reported by a new website.

The Bureau also disclosed that apart from spending on outdoor advertisements, INR 295.05 crore was paid for print advertisements and INR 317.05 crore was spent on electronic media.

In June 2019, in response to another RTI, the Ministry of Information and Broadcasting had said that it had spent INR 3,767.2651 crore on print, electronic, outdoor media and printed publicity. Whereas in May 2018, answering to another RTI, the Ministry had revealed that the government had spent INR 4,343.26 crore on publicity and media advertising.
