As part of the RDN project, Sharma Srishti Synergy has installed a complete suite of train and passenger information digital display screens – both large and small formats – including two large video walls at the entrance and concourse
Sharma Srishti Synergy, the business combine that holds exclusive rights to install and operate the Railway Display Network (RDN) at 32 stations in the Bengaluru Division of South Western Railway, turned a new leap by installing a series of networked DOOH screens at the newly inaugurated airport-like Sir M Visvesvaraya Terminal at Baiyappanahalli in Bengaluru.
The terminal, likened as a ‘world class station’ with air-conditioned indoor space and modern passenger amenities, is emblematic of the modernisation of Indian Railway stations. Such greenfield projects are also expected to have a positive cascading impact on the rail passenger traffic volume, which in turn will have a great bearing on the attractiveness of railway media.
As part of the RDN project, Sharma Srishti Synergy has installed a complete suite of train and passenger information digital display screens – both large and small formats – including two large video walls at the entrance and concourse, several units on the platforms, fare repeaters at the ticket counters, booking charts, and train arrival and departure displays.
While currently only South-bound trains will be stopping or terminating at this station, North-bound trains will also be connecting with this station in the near future. The sheer convenience of reaching this station, as well as the state-of-the-art passenger amenities will make this terminal the preferred onboarding and deboarding station for many passengers, which will be of the essence to advertisers on the DOOH network.
