Wagh Bakri travels miles with bus branding in Bengaluru
The brand utilises the BMTC moving media to build high visibility across the city
Considering Bengaluru witnesses huge inter- and intra-state people movement, Wagh Bakri Tea Group grabbed the opportunity to reach out to this large group of prospective customers. The tea brand has placed their communication on the local transport – the Bangalore Metropolitan Transport Corporation buses on the back-panels & side-panels.
“These buses bring a sigh of relief on the faces of commuters, just like Wagh Bakri Tea rejuvenates your mind and body. Bengaluru now prefers tea; introduction of a consistent quality of tea requires a multi-pronged communication approach. Apart from the primary medium of the print media, I have great belief in effectiveness of communication on local public transport, especially in Bengaluru,” said Parag Desai, Executive Director, Wagh Bakri Tea Group.
“The mobility of this communication medium, i.e. BMTC buses works in our favour due to its high visibility and brand value of BMTC buses,” said Yogesh Shinde, Vice President, Marketing, Wagh Bakri Tea Group.
