Nissan paints the sky over Udaipur to unveil its latest car
The night sky at the Fairmont Udaipur Palace became a high-tech canvas as Nissan used a massive drone fleet to illustrate the “gravity” of its newest family people-mover.
The night sky at the Fairmont Udaipur Palace became a high-tech canvas as Nissan used a massive drone fleet to illustrate the “gravity” of its newest family people-mover.
In a masterclass of experiential OOH, Nissan Motor India launched its highly anticipated 7-seater MPV, the Gravite, with a record-breaking drone show in the serene skies of Udaipur. On the evening of February 17, 2026, the brand effectively turned the atmosphere into a digital billboard, using hundreds of synchronized drones to “draw” the vehicle’s identity for a gathered crowd of influencers, journalists, and local spectators. The choice of venue—the regal Fairmont Udaipur Palace, provided a “royal” backdrop that Nissan says reflects the richness and diversity of the Indian families the Gravite is designed to serve.
The drone choreography was meticulously designed to highlight the Gravite’s most defining design elements before the physical car even hit the stage. The fleet first painted a massive silhouette of the MPV, followed by a detailed, illuminated rendition of its signature front grille, the primary visual differentiator from its platform sibling, the Renault Triber. As the show reached its crescendo, the drones formed the words “DEFY ORDINARY” in bright white light, punctuated by the Nissan logo and the “Gravite” nameplate, effectively branding the horizon and creating a viral-ready moment that dominated social media feeds instantly.
