Legrand’s Lyncus Switches Illuminate devotion at Lalbaugcha Raja with a touch

Legrand, a global leader in electrical and digital infrastructure, in collaboration with Posterscope India, executed an innovative campaign for its Lyncus range of switches during the famous Ganesh Chaturthi festival at Lalbaugcha Raja. Known for drawing millions of devotees annually, Lalbaugcha Raja is one of Mumbai’s most iconic Ganpati mandals. The campaign creatively tapped into the massive crowd, providing a unique experience that showcased Legrand’s product features.
The idea behind the campaign was simple yet impactful. With a daily footfall of 1.5 million devotees waiting in long queues to catch a glimpse of the revered deity, Legrand installed an interactive activation. At the touch of a Lyncus switch, devotees could get an immediate and exclusive view of the Ganpati idol, creating a moment of delight in the midst of the long wait. Over 500,000 devotees were able to experience darshan in this unique way, highlighting the convenience and ease of use of Legrand’s Lyncus switches in a culturally significant and emotionally resonant manner.
The campaign didn’t just stop at Lalbaugcha Raja. It extended into the Lohar Chawl electrical market, a major hub for electrical supplies, in the form of hoardings, further expanding its reach. Overall, the campaign garnered over 2 million views, successfully blending technology, culture, and consumer engagement. By connecting a simple product function to an emotionally significant moment for devotees, Legrand’s Lyncus range of switches became an integral part of their festival experience. This activation was a perfect demonstration of the brand’s commitment to innovation while being rooted in the local ethos.
