Korean Air takes Delhi Metro route to promote direct flights to Seoul
CASHurDRIVE has executed the one-month campaign that began in mid-April
Korean Air has boarded the Delhi Metro ‘Yellow Line’ to promote the airline’s direct flights from New Delhi to Seoul. The Yellow Line is one of the longest Delhi Metro routes connecting significant business and corporate centres like Chandni Chowk, Chawri Bazaar and Kashmere Gate. Some 15 lakh commuters move on this Line every day. The Yellow Line also covers Gurugram where major corporate houses are located. It even unites with the Rapid Metro that links with daily commuters from NH#8 to Delhi Metro via Cyber City & Golf Course Road.
The brand has wrapped the Yellow Lin rakes with its “5 daily flights” message. OOH firm CASHurDRIVE executed the one-month campaign, beginning mid-April, on the media owned by eg. communications. Commenting on the objective of the campaign, Raghu Khanna, CEO, CASHurDRIVE told Media4Growth, “The objective of the campaign was establish the maximum impressions while reinforcing the international brand’s eminence. The motive was to connect with the maximum number of corporate and normal office going people who generally desire for rich, entertaining and economic airline experience.”
CASHurDRIVE viewed the full Metro wrap as the best possible way to reach out to the TG. The six rakes offered premium advertising space of approx. 7,000 sq.ft.
Due emphasis was laid on the creative expression of the campaign. “The artwork highlights the airline’s world-class facilities and amenities for their passengers. Each coach of the train has been branded with a different creative detailing the airline’s services, entertainment network etc.,” says Raghu. The creative theme and background adhered to the airline’s colours.
