boAt celebrates World Music Day with unique QR- embedded billboards

The audio and electronics brand integrated QR codes on their boards which redirects viewers to boAt’s website where they can learn more about the artists

21st June is celebrated as World Music Day, and boAt Lifestyle, one of India’s leading audio wear brands came up with a unique way to celebrate the same. 

OOH campaign of Boat

The focus of the campaign was to highlight India’s emerging artists – the talent often faces the brunt of the competition due to the algorithm. boAt broke the algorithm through strategic contextual placement on YouTube ads and buying 100% SOV of the most heard songs in India. This was further integrated with traditional OOH as the brand features these emerging artists on billboards containing QR codes.

When scanned, the QR codes redirects viewers to boAt’s website where they can explore the profiles of the artists and also explore their discography on streaming platforms such as Spotify and YouTube.

The campaign was executed by PROOH.AI in Mumbai and Delhi and will be live for a total of 3 days, ending on 23rdJune.
