TIMDAA gets ISO 27001 certification

As per international ISO norms, TIMDAA was examined and audited for 24 mandatory policies and 180 postulates

TIMDAA has became world's first OOH company to get the ISO 27001 certification which specifies the requirements for establishing, implementing, maintaining and continually improving an information security management system within the organisation. ISO/IEC 27001:2013 also includes requirements for the assessment and treatment of information security risks tailored to the needs of the organisation.

The certifying entity is internationally acclaimed auditors Quality-Austria, Vienna. Quality Austria Central Asia Pvt. Ltd. is a joint venture of Quality Austria, Austria and Peacock Global Quality Assurance, India, established in September 2010. It is one of the leading certification, industrial services (inspection, technical advisory & surveying investigation) and training agency in the fields of health, safety, environmental and business quality.

The process conducted in two stages included qualification stage and certification stage. The strategy entailed a record of all physical assets including 250 digital screens, 400 MATVs, entire network, servers, et al. The internal devices were mapped and hardened as per international norms. TIMDAA partnered with Tech Mahindra for Physical Security & Internal Audits of ISO 27001.

Pertinent to note that IGIA is exposed to approx. 40 million passengers annually. TIMDAA took the initiative to get world standards in place which came across in the area of information security.  As per International ISO norms, TIMDAA was examined and audited for 24 mandatory policies and 180 postulates. Every department played a vital role in presenting their processes and methods pertaining to them. The project was executed and conducted under the projects team and supported by HR for all required areas. Workshops and sessions were conducted and teams were educated to achieve the desired results.
