Sidheshwar Sharma, who is GM – Brand Management for CVBU at Tata Motors, comes with experience covering government sector and MNCs, steering critical work for global power brands including Visa, P&G, Unilever, GE, Mondelez, Generali and ITC.

Sidheshwar Sharma, General Manager – Brand Management, CVBU, Tata Motors, and ex-Head of Content, Royal Enfield, ex-Executive Vice President, Publicis Groupe, joins the jury for the much awaited  Outdoor Advertising Awards (OAA) 2022 contest.

An accomplished marketing professional with over eighteen years’ experience, Sidheshwar has experience across multi sector brand businesses and managing a profitable P&L. His work experience covers government sector and MNCs, steering critical work for global power brands including Visa, P&G, Unilever, GE, Mondelez, Generali and ITC

With ‘Deep India’ exposure, Sidheshwar has worked with a team of multi-talented and multi-faceted creators and partners delivering long and short format content with multi-million dollar creation and budgets dissemination. This was accompanied by ‘On Scale’ digital experience across brands.

He was acknowledged for challenging gender inequality with Ariel #ShareTheLoad and breaking menstruation related taboos with Whisper #TouchThePickle. And democratizing dreams and pivoted access to money with debit and online payment solutions from Visa. He also created and deployed #RoadsThatHonk, an initiative with HP Lubricants to make mountain roads in India safer. He is also credited with triggering demand acceleration in the cruiser category with Royal Enfield’s Meteor 350 #CruiseEasy and Classic 350 #BeReborn.

The entire judging process for OAA has been planned at two levels:

  • Online – for the first round of shortlisting
  • In-person Jury meetings in Mumbai & Delhi to select the winners (Gold / Silver / Bronze) from the shortlisted entries. 

 OAA 2022 will have participation in 6 different award categories & 20+ sub-categories:

  • Brand Categories having 12 sub-categories
  • Media Plan of the Year
  • Special Categories – such as, Green OOH, DOOH, Ambient Media, Best Innovation, Activation
  • International
  • Public & Social Causes
  • Campaign of the Year.

Winners of OAA 2022 will receive the coveted Metals at the Outdoor Advertising Awards function at Westin Mumbai Powai Lake hotel on August 18, 2022 evening, just after the conclusion of Outdoor Advertising Convention (OAC) 2022. The Awards will be given away by highly accomplished Brand Marketers, and International OOH leaders.
