Udit Mittal, DGM, Tata Motors joins OAA 2023 jury

Udit Mittal, Deputy General Manager, Tata Motors, has joined the jury for the Outdoor Advertising Awards (OAA) 2023.
Udit is an automotive enthusiast with over 13 years of experience in media planning and buying and has worked for some of the biggest automotive original equipment manufacturers (OEMs) such as Hyundai and Tata.
Speaking on the importance of OAA for the Indian OOH space, Udit said “Over time, the OOH industry has evolved and is no longer a secondary media option compared to other mediums and as a result, brands have increased their overall marketing spends on OOH advertising. It is important to recognise and celebrate the concepts, creations and experiments undertaken in the industry, and OAA is an industry benchmark that not only celebrates the work done in the OOH space but also motivates everyone to keep pushing the boundaries to make this media more result-oriented”.
Udit always aims to bring forth pathbreaking media campaigns that are driven by market insights and seek to leverage media and research skills to help the organisation align with dynamic market situations while also increasing their market impact.
While talking about this year’s awards, Udit has high hopes from all the entries: “This contest should give exposure to some innovative work which expands the limits of the OOH medium. All of the people, including the clients that are behind these ideas should be celebrated and given a platform to give showcase these campaigns and to motivate others as well”.
