‘Projo’ has worked for around 18 years in some of the country’s top creative agencies including McCann, JWT and DDB Mudra, where he has shaped brands like Barclays, Lee Cooper, Stayfree, Pears, The Economic Times, Smirnoff and Nokia, among others.
Prajato Guha Thakurta, Founder & CCO, MANJA, joins the Jury for Outdoor Advertising Awards 2022, which has already completed the second round of judging for entries in Group A, and is all set to enter the second round of judging for Groups B and C.
Prajato or ‘Projo’ has worked for around 18 years in some of the country’s top creative agencies including McCann, JWT and DDB Mudra, where he has shaped brands like Barclays, Lee Cooper, Stayfree, Pears, The Economic Times, Smirnoff and Nokia, among others.
His last stint was at Leo Burnett, where he drove the agency’s creative culture as its National Creative Director and turned it into one of the most awarded offices in the country. His portfolio there included brands like McDonald’s, Jeep, Google, Bajaj Auto, Isuzu, Abbott and PhonePe.
His work sits at the intersection of storytelling, technology, innovation and design, the best example of which is the Bajaj V campaign that brought home India’s first Cannes Gold Lion for Creative Effectiveness.
Over the years, Projo’s work has won him several awards, both national and international, including Cannes Lion, D&AD, One Show, Adfest, Spikes and Effies.
Advertising aside, Projo’s a voracious reader, (self) published author, trained classical pianist, budding organic farmer, hands-on dad to two kids, striker in the local football team and football coach at an NGO that works with underprivileged kids.
