Railways extends Package 51 bid submission date to Sept 18

The Rail ministry has extended the date of submission of bids for Package no. 51 i.e., for East Central Railway Zone. Earlier the scheduled date was September 4, 2017 which has now been shifted to  September 18. As a result of this, the physical submission of supporting documents for the Technical Bid has been shifted to September 20, 2017 where the technical bid on the Auction Portal will also open on the same date.

Another significant modification made by the authority in the tender is that the “OAP” definition has been changed. Earlier the OAP included guidelines on the grant of permission for display of sky signs and advertisements or commercial publicity framed and issued by the municipal corporations, development authorities or any other government authorities / agencies having jurisdiction within the divisions / advertising locations falling under such zone. However, now the OAP will cover advertisements or commercial publicity framed and issued by Railways or any other policy as adopted by Railways falling under such zone.
