Indian Railway invites bid for commercial advertisement charges on pre-printed computerised unreserved tickets

Indian Railway has invited bids for commercial publicity charges incurred on printing of multicolour advertisements by the Railways to display advertisements on pre-printed computerised unreserved tickets (UTS). This type of open indigenous normal mixed tender has earnest money deposit value of Rs 70,680 and the evaluation will be based on item wise or consignee wise.
Published under the Ministry of Railways, the Southern Railway Division from Chennai, Tamil Nadu offers a single packet bidding system whose ranking order will be from lowest to highest. The successful bidder shall bear the advertising charges for printing multicolour commercial advertisements by railways, who will display and promote commercial advertisements on pre-printed computerised UTS which are to be issued from ticket counters of Southern Railway. The completion of this work under this contract shall be valid for a period of 18 months. The successful tenderer shall submit 10% of contract value towards security deposit which will be refunded after the completion of contract.
The last date for downloading the tender document is on 15th May, which accounts for the date of the bid submission and also opening of the tender.
