MHOA confers with BMC on outdoor policy in the making
The first draft is expected to be released in three weeks for obtaining the suggestions of media owners in the city and to gauge their concerns
Mumbai Hoarding Owners’ Association (MHOA) has had a discussion with Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation on the upcoming outdoor policy whereby they shared their outlook and expectations, said Khalid, President of Mumbai Hoarding Owners’ Association (MHOA). “We have met the authority’s bureaucrats. They have demonstrated a positive approach to our business which gave us a sense of the relief.”
While the details of the discussion have not been shared, the association was given assurances that there will be no increase in tax liability on the industry and that LED formats will become a reality soon.
The first draft of the policy is expected to be out in 3 weeks time whereby the industry will be given a chance to present their suggestions and grievances on the outdoor advertising policy.
