MHOA meets BMC to discuss draft ad policy
The industry body is hopeful that the civic body will consider the suggestions put forth on finetuning certain provisions of the draft policy
The Mumbai Hoarding Owners’ Association (MHOA) leadership has met with Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation’s Deputy Commissioner Nidhi Chaudhary for a detailed discussion on the draft Policy Guidelines on the Grant of Permission for Display of Sky-Signs and Advertisement under Section 328 & 328 A of MMC Act 1888
that was made public by the civic body inviting feedback and suggestions.
Khalid, President, MHOA, told Media4Growth that the industry body has shared suggestions for finetuning some of the provisions in the draft policy and that the BMC official was appreciative of the feedback.
Khalid did not disclose the points of discussion but said that the civic body had taken cognizance of the suggestions that would greatly benefit the industry. The final version of the policy is expected to be released soon.
