Jio celebrates its stock market debut with a spectacular drone show at Wankhede Stadium
The large-scale aerial display marked Jio Platforms’ market listing, turning a major corporate milestone into a public spectacle across Mumbai’s skyline.
Jio Platforms celebrated its stock market debut with a drone show at Mumbai’s Wankhede Stadium on October 28, 2026. The event followed the company’s record-breaking initial public offering (IPO), which raised approximately $3.2 billion, making it India’s largest IPO to date.
The drone formations featured a large illuminated portrait of Reliance Industries Chairman and Managing Director Mukesh Ambani, alongside the Jio logo and the message “India’s largest IPO”. The show used synchronised lights in the night sky to bring the company’s milestone to life, with the visuals unfolding above a gathering of spectators.
The spectacle formed part of celebrations surrounding Jio Platforms’ market debut on October 28, 2026. Reports said the festivities at the Reliance Corporate Park included DJs, live performances and other entertainment, turning the listing into a larger employee and corporate celebration.
From an OOH perspective, the drone show demonstrates how aerial displays can transform a corporate milestone into a live visual experience. Rather than relying on conventional signage, the execution used the night sky as its canvas, combining scale, movement and brand imagery to create a spectacle designed to command attention and encourage social sharing.
