Members must prove paid tax to come on board IOAA’s website: Indrajit Sen
With much anticipation in the outdoor circuit for a while, an MoU has been finally signed between IOAA and AAAI for the benefit of both the parties. The objectives will be simple at the start in order to ensure removal of illegal media and protecting the interest of media owners and agencies.

“Primarily, we want the members to produce at least some basic papers proving the paid tax to come on board of our official website. The website will enlist only legal members and we plan to finish the process by end of the year, said Sen.
The SOPs taken up by IOAA, post the agreement:
- Mechanism for issues like booking-cancellation- extension grid, billing, deadlines, dealing with defaulters in delivery etc.
- A mechanism for enforcement of above mentioned issues and dealing with defaulters including advertisers.
- A credit period of 90 days from end of month activity
- A commitment to work together for improvement and progress of outdoor industry.
- A commitment to deal preferentially with each others as an assurance of legality, best practices, ethical and good governance
- IOAA will monitor legality of members’ sites
- Members will be expected to follow good practices
- Credit period assurance protection will be available to all IOAA members
- IOAA is separately offering accreditation to non-AAAI agencies with terms including prior experience, provided bank guarantees to secure credits. It is similar to what INS does to print media but it will have lesser degree as of now.
- IOAA members are expected to take lesser time in processes like confirmation, cancellation, PO to ensure business development and efficiency.
Sen also invited more members to come under the aegis of IOAA. “As soon as each region or city has sufficient members and that strength has enough resources to run an office of their own, we will be happy to include it as chapter of our association, assured Sen.
