Meenakshi Menon to speak at in-person India Talks OOH conference in Mumbai on March 8

Meenakshi Menon will be addressing the conference on the theme of ‘Reimagining the specialist role in a fast changing media business environment’.

Meenakshi Menon, Founder, Spatial Access The pandemic period has seemingly accelerated the need for significant makeover of specialist agencies operating in India in regard to (i) use of granular audience data for media planning & buying, (ii) alignment of OOH with omnichannel communication strategy, (iii) use of sophisticated media monitoring system,  (iv) and preparations for going programmatic with wider use of DOOH.

The need for change would also mandate induction of specialist professionals who are future-ready for OOH/DOOH. And, besides, there has also been a trend toward consolidation of media agencies, wherein the specialist agency is no longer operating in its own niche.

Against this backdrop, renowned Media and Entertainment industry leader Meenakshi Menon, founder of Spatial Access (which is now a Deloitte business), will be addressing the India Talks OOH conference on the theme of ‘Reimagining the specialist role in a fast changing media business environment’. The one-day conference will be held at Sahara Star Hotel in Mumbai on March 8, 2022.

Meenakshi has over 4 decades years of experience. An entrepreneur for over 25 years, she is known for her scientific approach and rigour when it comes  to enhancing the impact of Advertising & Marketing investments.

Prior to founding Spatial Access in 2003, Meenakshi worked in Lintas India Ltd, managing among other clients the Hindustan Lever business, was MD of the Sales and Marketing company at Zee TV and launched Carat, the first media-independent firm in India, in 1997.

Meenakshi, who has been on several power lists and Magazine covers is known for her straight-talking, no-nonsense approach and her readiness to call a spade a spade. She is the industry expert on the Bachelor of Mass Media (BMM) Board of Studies at St Xavier’s College, Mumbai. She is the founder of Vanashakti the NGO that was the force behind saving the Aarey Forest, is a passionate environmentalist, a dedicated deep sea diver and an organic farmer.
