There are three ways that technology is being embraced in the OOH space – Social Media Engagement, Augmented Reality and Virtual Reality, and Beacon Technology, says Kumar
While addressing the theme of “How tech-enriched creative solutions will keep brands deeply engaged in the OOH space” at the recently concluded Gujarat Talks OOH Conference in Ahmedabad, Lokesh Kumar, Director, IKON, portrayed some of the greatest OOH campaigns based on technology executed not only in India but worldwide. “There are three ways that technology is being embraced in the OOH space – Social Media Engagement, Augmented Reality and Virtual Reality, and Beacon Technology.”
“Interestingly, brands across all categories are effectively using these to bring their OOH campaigns alive. Social media integration has now become an integral part of people’s lives and any activity without that engagement is nearly futile,” Kumar asserted.
Kumar viewed that the efficacy of technology would indeed like in how creatively it is applied to power OOH advertising.
