Century Ventures bags advertising rights of trolleys at Kolkata Airport

Century Ventures bags branding of 3200 trolleys of Kolkata airport and is looking at acquiring branding rights of all airports of eastern India.

Bihar-based Century Ventures Pvt Ltd has recently bagged the sole advertising rights for airport trolleys at Netaji Subhash Chandra International Airport Kolkata. Century will be responsible for branding a total of 3200 trolleys used at both national and international airport premises.

On winning the rights, Shashi kumar Chaudhary, Director, Century Ventures Pvt Ltd, said, "We are already operating through all possible traditional formats at Ranchi and Patna airports. We have covered billboards at arrival and departure premises, sitting areas and unipoles outside these two airports. We hope to acquire similar rights at 15 airports of eastern India.” Century is looking at Bhubaneswar, Bagdogra, Agartala, Imphal and Raipur airports currently.

Speaking about the prospective brands who will be interested in trolley branding, Chaudhary, informed, "Generally, the banks have always been interested in such branding. We are already in talks with Allahabad Bank, UCO Bank and United Bank of Commerce who are headquartered in Kolkata. We are also planning to bring some nationalised banks and retail brands onboard this time.”
