Bid open for sole advertising rights at Gorakhpur rly station

Earlier this month, The Lucknow Division of North-Eastern Railway floated a tender calling for bids for sole advertising rights at the Gorakhpur station which is the headquarters of North-Eastern Railway. The rights will be awarded for a three-year period.

The advertising value cited in the tender is Rs 45,17,783, whereas the EMD is Rs 2,71,100. The bids are to be submitted in single packets.

Gorakhpur station figures among top 100 booking station of Indian Railways, and handles over 189 trains daily. The city of Gorakhpur has a 44.36 lakh population (Census 2011).

The closing date of the tender is December 16, 2019 (4PM). The closing date is subject to change at the discretion of the North Eastern Railway.
