Ideazfirst ties up with Xchange Leasing India Pvt Ltd for cab advertising

Ideazfirst Technologies Pvt Ltd, which is a subsidiary company of Ideazfirst Marketing Service catering to events and activations, has entered into a contract with Xchange Leasing India Pvt Ltd for brand advertising across sectors

Kolkata-based Ideazfirst has tied up with Xchange Leasing, a group company of Uber, for undertaking exterior and interior branding of the cabs. The brands advertising on both exterior and interior of the car have the advantage of attracting their consumers by offering discount coupons available inside the cabs. Each Uber cab has been wrapped with 3M 1220 gloss series which does not damage the car at the time of the removal of vinyls. With latest HP latex machines and original inks, the car wrap has brilliant visibility.

Based on various brands of cars plying on the Uber platform, including sedans and hatchbacks like Swift Dzire, Honda Amaze, Tata Zest, and Indigo, Ideazfirst ensures not only the designs of the wrap displays in accordance with the cab design but also the accuracy in pasting the creative so that the advertisement does not peel off. A month-long ‘free exterior wrap on a cab by any brand’ is in the offer. Though about 50 branded cabs are currently operational in Kolkata, Ideazfirst plans to scale up the advertising on Uber cabs in Mumbai, Delhi, Bengaluru and Pune depending on the response.

Rajesh K Kishanpuriya, Managing Director, Ideazfirst Marketing Services told Media4Growth, “So far the response has been encouraging. We can scale up once the cab wraps becomes popular media for outdoor advertising in Kolkata. Uber has approximately 10,000 cabs operational in Kolkata. Around 50% of car owners are interested in advertising on their cars. We hope to advertise on 2,000 cars within a year. Modern app-based AC cabs have become a way of life. We hope this medium of advertising would soon become popular for the fact that they have flexible routes, and can generate quality leads for brands with inside advertising.”
