OOH delivers Adidas’ big shout-out to women athletes
Adidas, which recently rolled out the new phase of its ‘Impossible Is Nothing’ campaign to express commitment to Indian women athletes, once again leverages the power of OOH to strike the right chord in a larger than life manner.
Adidas, a brand that has consistently sought to strike the right emotional chord with its marketing campaigns, recently rolled out the new chapter of its “Impossible is Nothing” campaign to express commitment to Indian women athletes.
The sportswear major, which announced plans to launch major new women-focused initiatives and products, has roped in some big names, including Deepika Padukone, Mirabai Chanu, Lovlina Borgohain and others, as part of the campaign to deliver an inspiring message to women athletes.
It may be recalled that in December 2021, Adidas teamed up with St+art India Foundation to revamp the basketball court of Mumbai’s St. Andrews High School, innovatively fusing the world of art and sports as a medium for powerful storytelling around sports. The brand created a larger-than-life canvas to inspire the world and deliver an impactful yet simple message: ‘We See Possibilities, When We Come Together’.
These initiatives by the brand demonstrate how a powerful narrative combined with strategic use of the medium can make OOH just the right platform to deliver impact.
