Philips Professional Display Solutions appoints Marion Chaignon to execute EMEA marketing strategy

Experienced marketer, Marion, has played an integral role in building marketing campaigns for some of the world’s biggest technology brands.
Philips Professional Display Solutions (PPDS) appoints an experienced marketing specialist, Marion Chaignon, as its new marketing campaign manager, EMEA.
Part of PPDS’ continued recruitment and team strengthening across the European business, Marion brings a wealth of marketing experience to this important role, having executed major campaigns for some of the world’s most recognised technology brands, including Samsung Electronics, Asus, Nikon, HP, Lenovo and Logitech during her flourishing 12-year career.
Bilingual in French and English, and university-educated in business and business marketing, Marion joins PPDS from leading B2B and B2C marketing agency, Red Pimiento, where she spent almost six years under various EMEA roles, including account director, project director and team manager.
Her roles have providing extensive marketing experience in promoting a wide range of specific industries, including retail, hospitality, corporate and healthcare – all key focus areas for the Philips pro TV and digital signage ranges – and Marion will soon be visiting the firm’s dedicated European training facility in Gent to get a deeper understanding of all current and future products in the portfolio.
Working out of PPDS’ global head office in Amsterdam, Marion reports to marketing director, Ron Cottaar, who hailed her experience as a “perfect addition” to help execute the manufacturer’s continued and ambitious growth plans and brand strategy, moving into 2020 and beyond.
“We’re delighted to welcome Marion to the team. She joins during an extremely busy period for PPDS, with a range of important new products now being brought to market, including our industry-specific Philips B-Line, C-Line and T-Line display ranges. Marion’s extensive knowledge and experience in not only working with leading technology companies like ours but working on specific vertical market campaign strategy will add further strength to our already thriving team”, Ron commented.
Marion added, “Having spent the past decade working with multiple clients and executing a wide and extremely varied range of brand campaigns, the opportunity to work with PPDS and devote all my efforts and everything I’ve learned to a single brand is a tremendously exciting challenge.
“My background and experience have provided me with a deep understanding on how to successfully curate and execute the correct ways to market brands and products to specific industries and verticals. Skills that are an essential criterion for PPDS and its multi-industry product strategy, be it pro TVs in hospitality, interactive touch displays to reimagine education and corporate meetings, or attention demanding LED in retail stores. I’ve only been here a few weeks, but I already feel we’ve achieved so much. It’s an exciting time for the company and for me personally.”
