In a first, Outdoor Advertising Convention (OAC) 2017 will be directing focused attention on how social entrepreurship can add new avenues for OOH industry expansion. At OAC 2017, which will be organised at the Renaissance Mumbai Convention Centre Hotel, Powai, Mumbai, Pratap Hedge, CEO & Managing Director of telematics4u services private limited, a Bengaluru-based global company with a footprint across 40+ countries, will speak on the theme of how social entrepreneurship can create new OOH avenues that are highly collaborative in nature and deliver huge social impact.

Pratap is a serial entrepreneur, a technologist and an agriculturist with a distinctly unique and innovative approach to business that draws from the principles of nature/bio-mimicry. His professional work experience spans over 25 years in the IT/ITeS domain, having served in key leadership/strategic management positions in various domains and industries. He has pioneered and conceptualised new age economic models that knit together private, public, social sectors as well as the scientific community, academia and citizenry – all coming together via collaborative platforms enabled by emerging digital technologies [Cloud, Mobility, Networks, Sensors, Analytics, Security, Social, Spatial, etc]

As the CMD of telematics4u services, Pratap has pioneered and enabled inclusive and connected communities, especially at the bottom of the pyramid. He has created value ecosystems across various segments and industries as diverse as Natural Resources, Automotive Logistics, Urban Mobility, etc that knit together diverse stakeholders, delivering values to all, with proven revenue models.

One such innovative and unique initiative designed by Pratap in the Urban Mobility and OOH domains is ACE [Autorickshaw Community Empowerment], a social enterprise, incubated at t4u and now spun off as an independent not-for-profit Section 8 Company. The ACE ecosystems has diverse stakeholders/partners including various government organisations, Indian Space Research Organization (ISRO), banks and financial institutions, leading consumer brands, etc. Pratap is an invited speaker at various management institutes such as IIM-B.
