Ludhiana MC puts on hold implementation of new Punjab ad policy
The local civic body plans to form a committee to make a representation for allowing more advertising formats in the city
The Ludhiana Municipal Corporation has not implemented the new Punjab Outdoor Advertising Policy 2018, citing that the new policy curbs the opportunities for ad revenue generation. Instead, the local civic body plans to form a committee that will draft a representation to be made to the government on allowing more ad formats like mall façade media and sites on commercial buildings in the city.
The civic body’s standpoint is in consonance with the local OOH industry that is seeking more advertising avenues.
