Pioneer Publicity bags media rights for 1.2 km long DMRC FOB

The longest DMRC walk-though to have 50 backlit signages for display; media to be available from this October


Pioneer Publicity, a leading national media owning firm adds another feather in its kitty by bagging media rights for DMRC’s longest foot over bridge connecting two operational lines. The 1.2 km long much awaited FOB connects Durgabai Deshmukh South Campus station of Pink Line with Dhaula Kuan station of Airport Express line. According to the contract, the media owning firm is set to install 50 backlit display units covering the entire stretch.

The 6ftx2ft supreme quality of media will be installed catering the masses which majorly comprise youth and others traveling for leisure and work. The deployment, i.e. underway, is done with strategic planning to capture the attention of passers-by as well as to a strong storytelling opportunity to brands. The FOB is a crucial connecting link between the passengers of the Pink Line and the Airport Express Link as many passengers travelling to and from the Terminal 3 of the Indira Gandhi International Airport are being to take the FOB and interchange trains.

The FOB is a major technological masterpiece as a record 22 travelators have been installed on it for the convenience of the passengers. There are very few FOBs in the country with so many state of the art travelators. The 22 travelators (11 X2) have been installed in the landing space of about 15 metres in between them. The width of the FOB is about 6.1 metres. Along with various other facilities such as CCTV and etc., Benches have also been provided at some locations where the passengers would be able to take rest.

The contract is given for 9 years and the media will be available for selling from October onwards.
