Kumar is a marketing expert with experience of over two decades and has spearheaded an array of marketing initiatives across diverse brands and sectors, ranging from FMCG and telecom to lifestyle and financial services.

Kumar Gaurav, SVP & Head of Marketing Communications, IndusInd Bank Ltd (BFIL), joins the distinguished Jury for the Outdoor Advertising Awards 2022 contest. 

Kumar Gaurav is a marketing expert with experience of over two decades. He has spearheaded an array of marketing initiatives across diverse brands and sectors, ranging from FMCG and telecom, to lifestyle and financial services. He has mastered customer-centric innovation and strategic communication.

At IndusInd Bank, he is currently heading the Marketing department of one of its critical business units (Bharat Financial Inclusion Ltd) i.e. BFIL, where he is focused on enhancing the brand narratives and undertaking marketing initiatives to position BFIL as a leading financial service company in India.

Prior to IndusInd Bank, Kumar was associated with Edelweiss Tokio Life Insurance, Jana Small Finance Bank, Pernod Richard, Idea Cellular, HDFC Bank, Shoppers Stop.

Kumar comes with a passion to curate powerful brands, and the ability to identify key & strong consumer behaviour insights. He has led various brand KPIs, media & creative communication, ATL/BTL, product launches, PR & corp comm and digital/social media campaigns. He has driven various successful consumer acquisition and engagement programmes which have set a benchmark.

Kumar has also been recognised with several awards like  ‘Asia's 100 Power Leaders in Marketing & Communications 2022’ by White Page International. He was also the winner of Icons Award in August ’20 and was featured in the Guinness World Record for Organ Donation campaign in December 2019.

The OAA 2022 has drawn participation in 7 different award categories and 20+ sub-categories:

Winners of OAA 2022 will receive the coveted Metals at the Outdoor Advertising Awards function at Westin Mumbai Powai Lake hotel on August 18, 2022 evening, just after the conclusion of Outdoor Advertising Convention (OAC) 2022. The Awards will be given away by highly accomplished Brand Marketers, and International OOH leaders.
