RailTel invites RFPs for RDN on Build-Operate-Maintain basis in 2 regions

RailTel Corporation of India Ltd has floated two tenders inviting eligible bidders for Request for Proposal (RFP) to Build-Operate-Maintain two separate Railway Display Networks (RDN) as per specifications and schedule of requirements provided in the tender documents.

The RDN projects have been placed in two clusters or regions – (i) North + East; and (ii) South + West.

The tender notice is available on RailTel’s website www.railtelindia.com, whereas the Tender Notice and Tender documents are available on RailTel’s E- Nivida portal: https://railtel.enivida.com and Central Public Procurement (CPP) Portal: https://eprocure.gov.in/epublish/app for downloading.

The Online bid submission is to be done only on RailTel’s E- Nivida portal.

The pre-bid queries are to be submitted by April 3, and the Pre-Bid Meeting will be conducted online from 11AM, April 5. The link for joining the meeting will be published on RailTel’s website, RailTel E- Nivida portal and CPP portal by April 3.

Further, bids for both Regions are to be submitted by latest 3PM, April 25, 2022.

For each region, the Earnest Money Deposit is Rs 1 crore.

RDN projects that have been launched thus far have already met with success. As a case in point, Sharma Srishti Synergy went live with its RDN project in February 2020. That project envisaged to cover 32 stations in the Bengaluru Division of South Western Railway across three different states (Karnataka and parts of Tamil Nadu & Andhra Pradesh).
