Rajat Mehta, Karthi Marshan, Anand Dubey to speak on’Banking on OOH’ at OAC
Rajat, President & Country Head, YES Bank, Karthi Marshan, Sr. EVP & Head – Group Marketing & Principal Nodal Officer Kotak Mahindra Bank, and Anand Dubey, Vice President & Associate Marketing Partner, IndusInd Bank, will make presentations on how OOH works for the banking industry, and discuss their expectations from the OOH industry
The banking industry is visibly expanding its reach across the country in line with the Government’s push for rapid financial inclusion. To the existing customers, the banking players are offering a whole range of services meeting the entire credit and financial needs, whereas renewed efforts are being taking to bring more customers into the banking fold through innovative offerings. In recent years, leading banks and financial institutions have been rolling out innovative OOH campaigns to connect with customers far and wide.
Keeping in view the growing relevance of OOH advertising to the banking industry, Rajat Mehta, President & Country Head: Brand, Digital & Retail Marketing, YES Bank, Karthi Marshan, Sr. EVP & Head – Group Marketing & Principal Nodal Officer Kotak Mahindra Bank Limited, and Anand Dubey, Vice President & Associate Marketing Partner, IndusInd Bank will speak on the theme’Banking on OOH’ at Outdoor Advertising Convention (OAC) that will held at the Renaissance Mumbai Convention Centre Hotel during July 24-25. The’Banking on OOH’ session will be held on Day 1 of the Convention.
Rajat is the President & Country Head at YES Bank. He is responsible for marketing & communications of the retail and SME businesses, across over 650 branches in India as well as international operations of the bank. He also manages product marketing across all liabilities, assets, NRI, cards, third party and direct banking product portfolios.
Rajat is responsible for the YES Bank mother brand, including all brand initiatives across television, print, outdoor and events. He manages the central sponsorship of the Indian Premier League (IPL) and leads a very robust online marketing practice, spearheading YES Bank’s digital and social marketing initiatives for brand and business generation, where YES Bank enjoys a leadership position in India.
Karthi oversees marketing efforts across all verticals with Kotak Mahindra’s presence, including insurance, banking, brokerage, asset management et al. He also heads Service Quality and is Principal Nodal Officer.
Previously, Karthi helmed the marketing function of IDBI Bank. He is also a co-founder of Sharekhan, one of India’s leading retail brokerage firms.
Karthi, an alumnus of IIM Bangalore (class of ’92), started his professional career as a copywriter, then moved on to account management at Grey Worldwide, and subsequently produced television content for Sony India. Prior to joining Kotak, Karthi was based out of Sydney, where he helped turn around an ailing DTH business that catered to the Indian diaspora in the ANZ region.
Anand is an advertising & marketing professional with over 18 years of rich experience in building Indian & MNC brands. He has been successful in creating brand awareness and repute to brands across various categories like banking, consumer durables, automobiles and media Sector.
An astute marketer, he has practiced various functions which include Brand Management, Media Planning, ATL & BTL executions, Product Launches, Digital Marketing, Market Research, Consumer Insights, Public Relations, Internal Communications, Social Media Marketing and Campaign Management.
At IndusInd Bank, Anand spearheads the Brand Management & Media Planning division of the bank. He has been a key contributor in changing the brand positioning of the bank and instrumental in the image makeover of the bank post restructuring exercise in 2008.
