Poll results shown live on PlayAds’ digital network across 19 railway stations in Kerala
Cochin-based PlayAds Digital Network Media had live telecast of election results on 151 digital screens across stations in the Thiruvananthapuram Railway Division
Cochin-based DOOH firm, PlayAds Digital Network Media, utilised their digital media network to broadcast live the much awaited Lok Sabha election results. The results were shown live on screens installed across 19 major railway stations in Kerala. These included 151 large and small formats of LED and LCD screens in railway stations like Trivandrum, Ernakulam Junction, Kollam, Thrissur and Kottayam in the Thiruvanathapuram Division. Each screen installed in the stations utilised 50% of the space to provide railway information for passengers 24×7. About 40% of the screen space was allotted for commercial advertisements for brands like LIC, Samsung, Google etc., on a rotational basis.
Speaking on the initiative, Icy Varghese, Managing Director, PlayAds Digital Network Media said, “These screens benefits thousands of passengers who are keen to get live coverage of election results and were engaged with important assignments that required travelling. The DOOH firm often runs such added information to increase its content visibility by displaying data which attracts public interest such as election results or any significant sports events.”
