‘Bharat: Mother of Democracy’ – A special initiative by Tagbin to Greet World Leaders at G20 Summit
An innovative AI Holobox, placed at the entry of the exhibition, will provide personalized greetings for VIPs, VVIPs and other visitors.
Tagbin, in collaboration with the Ministry of Culture, is hosting a special exhibition highlighting India’s democratic traditions titled ‘Bharat: Mother of Democracy’ that will greet the heads of state and other invitees who will be in attendance for the G20 summit. The exhibition will be organized in the foyer area of Hall 14, Pragati Maidan, New Delhi from September 8-10, 2023.
The primary objective of this exhibition is to convey to the world that democracy has deep-rooted historical and cultural origins in India. Leveraging state-of-the-art technology, Tagbin has ensured that the exhibition aims to enlighten visitors about India’s profound democratic heritage.
At the entry of the exhibition, an innovative AI Holobox has been developed to provide personalized greetings for VIPs, VVIPs, and other visitors. This AI Holobox takes the form of an AI avatar and employs advanced voice cloning technology to generate a lifelike, real-person voice to welcome incoming individuals. Notably, it utilizes sophisticated face recognition capabilities to identify individuals, offering tailored greetings based on their identity. Even if a person is not recognized, they can receive a warm welcome with a predefined text, such as ‘Namaste’. Moreover, when visitors provide their details, the AI Holobox performs real-time generation and speech synthesis, ensuring a dynamic and personalized greeting experience for all.
At the heart of the exhibition stands a rotating sculpture of the Dancing Girl from the Sindhu Saraswati Civilization, elevated on a podium in the centre of the hall. Informative kiosks placed alongside the sculpture provide detailed descriptions of the same.
The 26 interactive panels in the exhibition cover a wide array of topics, including 7,000 years of Democratic Ethos, Bharat – The Mother of Democracy, the Sindhu-Saraswati civilization, the Vedic era, The Ramayana, The Mahabharat, Maha Janpada and Gantantra, Jaina Dharma, Bauddha Dharma, Kautilya & Arthashastra, Megasthenes, Samrat Ashoka, Fa Hsien, Khalimpur Copperplate inscriptions, Shrenisangha, Uthiramerur, the Philosophical Foundation of Democracy, Krishnadeva Raya, Akbar, Chhatrapati Shivaji, Local Self-Governance, the Constitution of India, and Elections in Modern India.
The content for these 26 kiosks has been crafted using AI technology. These kiosks have been strategically arranged in a line. Hence, to prevent audio intersections and provide a seamless audio experience, directional speakers have been deployed. These specialized speakers are designed to project audio in a conical area, ensuring that only one person at a time, standing within the designated area, can hear the audio content clearly. This audio solution enhances the overall visitor experience at the exhibition. Here, content can be explored with audio available in 16 different languages.
Saurav Bhaik, Founder & CEO, Tagbin sharing his thoughts on the exhibition said, “As per Indian ethos, democracy embodies the values of freedom, acceptability, equality, and inclusivity in society, allowing its common citizens to lead a quality and dignified life. The ‘Mother of Democracy’ exhibition highlights this illustrious legacy and so much more. It’s a true privilege to contribute to this extraordinary project. By harnessing the power of AI and emerging technologies, we’ve created an immersive experience like no other. This exhibition transcends traditional showcases; it’s a dynamic narrative of India’s democratic legacy.”
As the ‘Bharat: Mother of Democracy’ exhibition opens its doors, it beckons attendees to delve into India’s democratic history, offering a glimpse into a heritage that has withstood the test of time and continues to inspire nations worldwide. The exhibition will project India as a shining example of a liberal democracy.
