Times OOH unveils new UHD digital displays at Mumbai Airport

By Bhawana Anand - August 06, 2019

Already installed, the new digital display array is a powerful medium for brand storytelling

India’s leading outdoor media owning firm, Times OOH has added an array of 10 Ultra High-Definition digital screens at the Arrival passage of the Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj International Airport, Mumbai. The ultra-stretch, 88-inch displays are strategically placed towards the exit gates to attract the attention of the flyers. Already installed, these also offer a huge possibility for brands to sell a compelling story to travellers.

These are 88BH7D Ultra Stretch Signage manufactured by LG Business Solutions. They are newly designed format with a 32:9 widescreen. It enables to deliver compound content consisting of video and text effectively, and also fully keeps the ratio of the advertising target as it is and shows smoothly.

Given that the Mumbai International Airport is among the busiest in the world, recording a footfall of over 50 million passengers in the last financial year, these new installations are meant to enable advertisers to host impactful dynamic advertisements to drive higher recall for their products & services.

Commenting on the property, Dhanraj Israni, Product head – Airports, Times OOH said, “The Mumbai Airport is not only one of the world’s busiest airports, it is also the gateway to the country’s financial capital, hosting some of the most affluent consumer classes an advertiser can aspire for. Our new Ultra High-Definition digital screens have been placed considering the orientation of the space and passenger movement to help our advertisers capitalise on the opportunity to capture the attention of the millions of travellers arriving, while adding aesthetic value to the arrival area.”

“Our media plan stems from product and consumer research, as well as market feedback, which is done periodically. This ensures that our media plan stays relevant in the current business context,” he added.
