Vodafone goes big on OOH as 4G leader

The brand has been named as the fastest 4G network service provider in Delhi, as per the testing done by Ookla and the result has been promoted well on OOH in the Delhi-NCR market

Vodafone has been named as the fastest 4G network service provider in Delhi, as verified by Ookla – the global leader in broadband testing and web-based network diagnostic applications. Results of 4G data speed tests done across the length and breadth of the Delhi NCR region have revealed that Vodafone SuperNet 4G is the fastest network in Delhi NCR. The brand has used the OOH medium to make a big splash of the result in the city.

The on-going campaign can be spotted at multiple locations with large number of gatherings such as metro stations, malls facades, arterial roads and etc. To support the brand imagery and highlight the message, the brand has mainly taken king-size formats with the message, ‘Delhi NCR’s fastest 4G Network is here’.

Speaking on the development, Vishant Vora, Chief Technology Officer, Vodafone Idea Ltd. said, “With 10 telecom circles and many parts of Delhi NCR fully integrated, Vodafone Idea customers are experiencing the benefits of a unified and future-ready digital network. To be recognised by Ookla as the fastest 4G network in the national capital is also a recognition of our consistent efforts to provide better network experience for our customers.”

Vodafone Idea Ltd. is on a major network modernization exercise in Delhi NCR region to make it future-ready, and has already completed network integration in East Delhi, Noida, Greater Noida & Ghaziabad regions. In one of the largest deployments of latest technologies in the country, Vodafone Idea has set up 7,800 Massive MIMO, Small Cells and TDD sites to enhance coverage and network capacity in Delhi NCR.
