Atin OOH has showcased the symbols of India’s Independence over a 20-day period inside the Rajiv Gandhi International Airport, Hyderabad on the occasion of the country’s 68th Independence Day. To celebrate the’Azaadi Ki Udaan’, the OOH firm created models of Gandhi with his Charkha (spinning wheel), Amar Jawaan Jyoti (flame of immortal soldiers), and other symbols of Independent India, and displayed them at vantage points inside the airport, along with the tricolour.
The airport was also decorated with tricoloured balloons, and lighting. Several kiosks and co-branded standees were also set up.
Brands like Life Insurance Corporation (LIC) also engaged the passengers by painting the tricolour on people who volunteered for it. Some preferred to have the tricolour pinned on their clothes.
Besides, apparel brand Kashish, real estate firm Pride India, and Godrej (home security solutions) also put up kiosks on the occasion. The promotion is expected to draw the attention of some five lakh passengers over 20 days.
