Taj Mahal Tea launches innovative musical billboard in Vijaywada
The campaign was executed by Rapport and plays classical Indian music when it rains.
This monsoon, Vijaywada will feast on tea and pakoras while enjoying classical Indian music from a massive billboard. As tea is a staple in India, and especially popular during monsoon, Taj Mahal Tea has used the opportune moment to roll out their latest campaign.
The billboard, a media asset owned by Prakash Arts, attracts significant attention as it measures almost 150 feet in length and is located at the railway station junction in Vijaywada, one of the busiest in the city. The environmentally triggered billboard called ‘Megh Santoor’ features a set of 31 hammers that are designed to look like a piano and create a melody when it is raining, and keeps playing until rain ceases.
