Republic TV’s marketing scoop in West Bengal

Republic Media Network, the news channel brand is kicking off a host of marketing initiatives in Kolkata ahead of the Assembly elections through brand partnership, outdoor innovation, on-air radio campaigns, print ads, B2B trade marketing exercise, and social media campaigns,  

The brand has executed a wide spread OOH campaign in Kolkata covering every crucial touch point to connect with its audience. Arterial roads having large formats have been decked up with Arnab Goswami’s lead image along with the tagline ‘Kotha Hobey Chokhe Chokh Rekhe’. Metro stations have been used to capture mass attention through digital kiosks and train wraps. And to cover the length & breadth of the city, the TV news channel has launched branded vans.

One of the most interesting activities can be seen in the brand partnership with hospitality chain Wow Momo & Wow China, wherein the channel has positioned Republic Bangla as the one stop point for regional news in the Bengali language. Wow Momo & Wow China chain has over 100 outlets across the Kolkata and the average monthly reach of these outlets is over 6 lacs – 7.5 lacs, including dining and taking away, with over 4 lacs individuals receiving the brand communication in every single delivery from Wow Momo & Wow China via the partner app delivery system.
